India is the seventh-largest and the second most populous country in the world but we still suffer from a scarcity of non-renewable resources which is becoming more severe with time.

It is the need of the hour to formulate a model for the sustainable development of the country so as to make the mission of “Make in India” a success.

The Annual Conference – Towards a Resource Resilient India is an initiative of the Indian National Association for the Club of Rome to generate a platform for the discussion of better resource management in the country. This conference will include discussions and debates on various topics pertaining to the judicious management of non-renewable resources and the changes needed in the national policy to achieve the same.

The debates will be based around four primary themes, namely Resource Efficiency, Resource Inclusivity, Resource Security and Resource Use Impact and sessions will be held to focus on each one of them in great detail.

It is the responsibility of every citizen of the country to contribute towards the preservation of exhaustible resources and to make the necessary changes in their lifestyle in order to accomplish this goal. This conference is the right forum for gaining insight regarding how to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. It is also an excellent event for sharing your ideas regarding effective resource management with the rest of the nation, so that we may make the country more resource resilient and provide sustainable ecosystems for the future generations to flourish in.
